The Wedding Landy: Blazing Swords
It’s not often that you are surrounded by lots of people carrying swords! But when you attend a military wedding, it’s definitely something to get used to…
In September, we joined B&J in Raynham near Fakenham in Norfolk. A quaint village dating back to domesday survey in 1086, and home to what was RAF West Raynham.
With a population of 241, it’s quite impressive that it has 2 churches, although 1 is in ruins, so don’t think it fully counts… Their ceremony however, was held in the beautiful St Marys Church.
With the bells ringing out loud and clear, we got to admire and enjoy the stunning couple walk through the guard of honour, before heading onwards to The Great Barn at Manor Mews.
The newlyweds joyfully celebrated with their guests at a lively ceilidh hosted by the talented band, The Whirligigs! This delightful gathering brought everyone together for a night filled with dancing, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Congratulations J&B! We wish you all the happiness and joy as you embark on this wonderful journey of life together. May your days be filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories in the future that you will share.
